1. Information We Collect
When you use WeGiveIt, we collect:
- Your email address (for login and notifications)
- Display name you provide when contributing or organising
- Payment information processed securely by Razorpay or Stripe — we never store card numbers
- Usage data (page views, feature usage) via PostHog analytics
2. How We Use Your Information
- To operate your gift pools and process contributions
- To send you transaction and notification emails via Resend
- To improve the product through anonymised analytics
- To comply with financial regulations (KYC/AML where applicable)
3. Data Storage
Your data is stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS). Payment processing is handled by Razorpay (India) and Stripe (international). We do not sell your data to third parties.
4. Your Rights
You may request deletion of your account and data at any time by emailing privacy@wegive.it.com. We will process requests within 30 days.
5. Cookies
We use only essential cookies for session management (Supabase auth). No advertising cookies.
